Three More Reasons To Shop Downtown

April 11 was a red-letter day for downtown Portland, as one new retail store opened and two others unveiled newly remodeled space.

The newly opened store is that of Mountain Hardwear Inc. Available there is the company’s product line of clothing, mountaineering gear and outdoor equipment as well as other merchandise for outdoors enthusiasts. The store on Southwest Taylor is Mountain Hardwear’s first retail outlet.

The remodeled stores, both on Southwest Broadway, are Columbia Sportswear’s flagship location and the Nordstrom department store.
