Inner Circle for Outerwear

The Portland region’s reputation as a center for production and marketing of sports apparel was enhanced with the announcement in late February 2008 that snowboard apparel maker Holden Outerwear is uniting all of its operations locally.

Holden’s design and marketing have been based in Portland since the brand was established in 2001, and now its sales and distribution will be handled from the company’s newly consolidated headquarters here. Previously, Earth Products of Carlsbad, Calif., had handled sales and distribution for Holden under a licensing agreement.

Holden’s product line includes jackets, pants, shirts, gloves and other items. The merchandise is sold through 180 specialty retailers across the United States.
