The name is slightly deceiving: The Portland Saturday Market operates on Saturday and Sunday from March through September.

The arts-and-crafts market has been a mainstay of the Old Town/Chinatown neighborhood since the mid-1970s. With about 300 vendors present on a typical market day, it is as vibrant as ever in its location around Ankeny Plaza.

The open-air market generates an estimated $8 million in gross sales each year and attracts about 750,000 visitors.
