Gardening not only flourishes in Portland, it can become an art form.

The International Rose Test Garden has acres of flowers along with a fountain, statues and paved paths for public tours. The site can be reserved for weddings.

Other scenic destinations include the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden, Classical Chinese Garden and Japanese Garden. The latter has five distinct attractions – a Strolling Pond Garden, Tea Garden, Natural Garden, Flat Garden, and Sand and Stone Garden.
