The sporting life is a vibrant one in Portland on the professional level.

The Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association dominate the pro sports scene locally, but they certainly are not the only game in town. Other teams are the Portland Beavers of baseball’s Triple A Pacific Coast League, the Portland LumberJax of the National Lacrosse League (pictured) and the Portland Timbers of the United Soccer League.
