Annual Festivals Fill Calendars in Portland Region

Mark your calendars – multiple times – for the many annual festivals in Portland and vicinity.

The city is home to the Rose Festival in June, Oregon Brewers Festival and Waterfront Blues Festival in July, Ukrainian Day Festival in August, Art in the Pearl over Labor Day weekend, and Christmas Ships Parade in December.

In Gresham, the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival is staged in August, and a month later Hillsboro has its Celebration Parade and Old Town Festival. In November, Forest Grove hosts the Verboot Sausage and Sauerkraut Dinner.

Also in November, Wine Country Thanksgiving tours are offered across the Willamette Valley.

In southwest Washington, Yacolt is site of the Pumpkin Festival in October, and Ridgefield welcomes the Chestnut Festival in October and the Hometown Celebration in December.
